Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of manufacturing processes? Join our dynamic Engineering team as a Regional Process Engineer and play a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency, and quality across the EMEAA region.
About the Role:
As the Regional Process Engineer, you will be the driving force behind all Manufacturing Process Engineering activities. Your mission? Design, implement, and optimise processes that ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. You'll be a key player in supporting business projects, strategic plans, and growth initiatives.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Process Design & Development:
Lead the charge in evaluating the feasibility of new processes and modifications.
Create, update, and review process documents, including PFMEA, routings, BOMs, and control plans.
Introduce new manufacturing techniques, work instructions, and operator training.
Role involves travel to multiple site across the UK, head office being Wolverhampton
Process Monitoring & Control:
Collect and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain technical data, reports, change notifications, and test procedures.
Implement control systems to regulate and optimise manufacturing processes.
Quality Control:
Collaborate with various departments to analyse customer returns and implement corrective actions for consistent product quality.
Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Drive yield improvement projects within a six sigma framework.
Continuous Improvement: Lean and Six Sigma:
Implement continuous improvement methodologies like Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
Apply Six Sigma principles to minimise variations and enhance overall quality.
Documentation and Standardisation:
Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency.
Maintain detailed documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
Conduct training programmes for teams to ensure proper execution of manufacturing processes.
What You'll Already Have:
Essential
Experience in process development within a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
Knowledge of Product Launch Process
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for hands-on engineering.
Ideally based in the West/East Midlands
Desirable
Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
Quality tools experience and experience with Core Quality Tools – ideally APQP / PPAP / FMEA / SPC .
Six Sigma Green Belt or above.
CAD experience (SolidWorks/Creo) and interpretation of technical drawings.
IOSH qualification.
