Daily tasks of the successful Process Engineer:
strict adherence and compliance with corporate EH&S goals and objectives
NPD projects within the value stream ensuring all activities are completed within the project plan timeline.
CapEx projects linked to the design and installation of new plant equipment.
with suppliers to manage the introduction of tooling and machines.
all Engineering, New Product/Process development adhere to the Quality Always program and working with the facility and corporate Quality team ensure strict adherence to the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), in line with corporate quality strategy.
Requirements for the successful Process Engineer:
3 years minimum experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
Six Sigma green belt
Problem Solver with a good understanding of Root Cause Analysis methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, 5-Why etc.
understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles within injection moulding and ability to design and manufacture machine and assembly Jigs/Fixtures and associated tooling.
