Process Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a company in the Metals industry at their site based in Chesterfield on a permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client designs, manufactures and installs transformative technology for the aluminium manufacturing industry.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Chesterfield. This role will require regular travel to client sites domestically and internationally.
Process Engineer Role:
Your main duties will be:

• Providing equipment design, testing, installation and commissioning services to clients.
• Leading projects to design and install new equipment at client sites.
• Designing process equipment, facilities, control systems and ancillary components.�
• Full project management responsibilities from client briefings through system design, installation, commissioning and handover.�

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A degree level education in Chemical Engineering.�
• Significant experience in a projects focused role within chemical manufacturing, ideally in the metals industry.
• Great experience in process and equipment design (i.e. mass & energy balances, pressure drop calculations, heat transfer design experience, developing P&IDs etc...)
• This role will involve significant travel so they must have a UK drivers license, a valid passport and the willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
