My client is recruiting for an experienced Process Engineer to join their business. They are a leading gas industry solutions provider offering monitoring, metering, process control, sampling and telemetry equipment to domestic and industrial energy producers. Their ideal candidate will have proven experience of Process Design Engineering within hazardous areas, sample system design and chromatography, with a relevant Chemical or Process related qualification.



Process Engineer role:



The successful Process Engineer will be responsible for the following:




  • The design, and deployment of Process solutions ensuring compliance with industry standards, including hazardous areas.

  • Responsibility for production of process related designs, including P&ID/process flow diagrams,

  • hazardous area diagrams, specification/data sheets, ventilation designs & calculations, heating, heat loss & cooling calculations, flow and pressure loss calculations, pressure test procedures, method statements and procedures.

  • You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate Process solutions within broader sustainability initiatives.

  • Resolve Intricate technical challenges tied to process design systems while ensuring their alignment with industry standards.

  • Contribute to project proposals, estimating costs, and establishing realistic timelines for successful project execution.

  • Participate in functional process safety assessments (design reviews, HAZOPs, HAZIDs, HAZCONs, etc.).

  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them judiciously to amplify project efficiency and efficacy.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, nurturing their growth as future sustainability leaders.



Process Engineer requirement:




  • Educated to a relevant Process or Chemical Engineering qualification

  • Proven hands-on experience in a design capacity, desirably in a related field

    including hazardous areas, sample system design and chromatography.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving expertise with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong communication aptitude for effective collaboration across teams and for presenting

    intricate technical insights.

  • Adaptability to evolve in project requisites and performing well under pressure.



Process Engineer package:



Salary �35k - �52k dependant on experience

25 days holiday plus bank hols

Option to buy 3 additional days annual leave.
