Position: Process Analyst
Hours: Full-time
Location: Dundee
Our Dundee based client are currently seeking to recruit a Process Analyst to provide support to their People Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with analytical skills keen to use their experience to address system challenges and shape solutions for the directorate and the wider business.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the People Systems Team on People and Payroll business process requirements and associated system delivery, as directed by People Systems Manager
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the People and Payroll system elements and functionality
  • Work in collaboration with People Directorate and DTS to support / take ownership of defining and agreeing business process requirements and their system delivery
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Provide support and contribute to the People Systems Team service delivery via the TopDesk System, ensuring SLAs are maintained, patterns are identified, and critical issues are raised to the People Systems Manager
  • Perform required Super User Activities and System Configuration tasks to support the People Directorate
  • Develop and maintain specified documentation of system related business processes as required and ensure relevant documentation is created for new processes being rolled out and launched
  • Be a champion of the OneUniversity system across the People Directorate - provide coaching for those within the People Directorate
  • Work in collaboration with People Directorate and DTS colleagues on the analysis and testing of new system functionality and defect resolution to support smooth and effective delivery
  • Evaluate new releases/functionality/fixes, participate in testing and coordinate their application to PROD/live environments. Support the People Systems Manager with the maintenance of the People test suite
  • Be an active participant in system upgrade processes
  • Ensure compliance with DTS change request protocols, updating and maintaining new/additional requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships and pro-actively manage stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong understanding of the OneUniversity system (Technology1), or alternatively, experience of working with other HR Cloud Systems implementation or continuous improvement - essential
  • An ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources and succinctly summarise key priorities and deliverables - essential
  • Demonstrable analytical skills and a pragmatic and systematic approach to problem solving - essential
  • Natural curiosity to look beyond the obvious and explore creative solutions - essential
  • Strong team play and collaborator who is customer centric in their approach- essential
  • A background in operational HR/Payroll and end to end HR/Payroll process - desirable
  • Practical experience of end-to-end process mapping - desirable
  • Practical experience in Continuous Improvement tools - desirable
