Reporting into the Head of Regulatory Services you will be responsible for leading the Private Sector Housing and Enforcement Service.

About the Private Sector Group Manager role:

To lead the Private Sector Housing and Enforcement service to ensure safe, decent, and genuinely affordable place to call home by 2030.
Manage multidisciplinary teams and projects concerned with the major service objectives for private rented housing.
Lead on and be accountable for the delivery of key assigned projects, including key policy areas.
Contribute to the budgets and business planning processes as well as the overall delivery of outputs and outcomes.
Your previous experience as a Private Sector Group Manager:

Knowledge and experience in all aspects of private-sector housing work. This will include the technical and legal aspects of housing law and property licensing.
Experience in the use of the Housing Act 2004 and other related statuary guidance.
Experience providing advice on complex housing cases, as well as promoting tenant's rights and landlord/agent engagement.
Evidence of preparing and implementing effective enforcement strategies and compliance with legal requirements.
