This role will be primarily responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and monitoring existing investments.Responsibilities:Research new fund and direct investment opportunities across a broad range of sectors and geographiesMonitor current investment deals and portfoliosContribute to due diligence of live investments activities and investment committee papersConduct broad industry and thematic research to help develop an understanding of relevant trends and risks to help direct investment activityBuild financial models across existing and prospective investmentsPrepare investment recommendations for presentation to the investment committeeWork collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisationCandidate Requirements:2-4 years’ experience in an analytical role within a finance or investment environmentExposure to, or understanding of the private equity industryStudying for CFA or Accountancy qualificationsDegree level educationDemonstrable experience of building and adapting detailed financial modelsStrong attention to detail and a critical mindsetMotivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small teamMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
