As an investment manager for over $1.4 trillion in client capital, MSIM has unique access to capital from institutional investors seeking European private credit exposure.What will you be doing?Maintain a robust valuation platform to support the valuation cycles for the European Private Credit (EPC) Funds.Maintaining the valuation model to prepare FV marks for all EPC portfolio assets.Liaising with other valuation agents and auditors (internal and external) to support their independent valuation roles.  Act as the point of contact for all valuation related questions and provide valuation support for portfolio / asset events as required. Take the lead on discussions where there are discrepancies in valuations and involve relevant people as needed.Scheduling and running the valuation committee process including collating committee agendas and meeting packs.  Preparation of reporting summaries with analysis on FV movements and impacts at fund and platform level.Oversee the preparation of reporting and investment monitoring packs including collating PM and Analyst commentary.  Provide valuation support on restructuring and bespoke investment situations.In addition, the role will include collaboration with other invest MS teams to develop and support the operating model.  This will include:Maintain internal Fund / Platform dashboards Ensure continued best practices are implemented through reporting and operations by recommending and supporting changes as necessary.  Support with the building out of the systems framework to deliver a scalable and efficient portfolio management function.Support the development of the reporting function, using automated system generated reports where possible and to meet investor and other stakeholder needs.QualificationsWhat we’re looking for:Experience in a valuations role.Experience within the Private Credit or Leveraged Finance industry.Excellent working knowledge of the principals of fair value and valuation methodologies.Skills that will help you in the role:Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Where will you be working?This role will be based in our London, Oxford Circus office.Interested in flexible working opportunities?
