Private Client Tax Senior Manager Department: TaxEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Canterbury DescriptionWe are looking for a highly experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager join our private client tax team in Canterbury. Your role as Senior Manager is to ensure the delivery of the private client tax function workflow and to directly manage a portfolio of private client tax relations.To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to provide technical expertise to clients directly and to internal KR client colleagues, have excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage budgets effectively and maximise fee recovery whilst delivering a customer-centric approach.Key responsibilities as Private Client Tax Senior Manager include:
Oversee planning, prioritising, resourcing and allocation of relevant client corporate tax work (compliance & advisory) ensuring effective team workflow
Be a point of contact across the firm for tax technical advice in a particular area
Oversee the monitoring of work progress and ensure appropriate levels of communication with all clients and internal stakeholders on jobs progress
Developing private client tax technical skill and keeping up to date through training courses, appropriate research and identification of changes in legislation, HMRC policy and as a result of cases
Take proactive steps to seek out tax advisory work from allocated private client tax work
Manage, protect and develop your own client portfolio, ensuring the firm adds maximum value to clients which will in turn maximise fee levels
Delegate work to colleagues to meet training needs and be available to assist with queries
Build own market profile/network and new BD activity so as to generate own leads and convert leads into clients

CTA qualification or equivalent
Extensive experience in personal taxation
