Our client – is a leading independent firm of accountants and tax experts, situated outside and away from the congested roads of central Cambridge. They have a high percentage of private client work, with technical and interesting assignments which rival even the Big 4. The team has a structure so that all are involved directly with all elements of the tax service they provide, both compliance and advisory, and each member has their own portfolio of clients with which they develop sound relationships with. As well as undertaking such professionally appealing work, the firm prides itself on its hybrid and flexible working which is extremely generous. The role – we are assisting the head of the private client team to recruit a new Tax Accountant, a role created due to the success of the department. The vacancy will predominantly comprise of private client compliance work, with the opportunity to be involved in some advisory work if desired. You will be working as part of a team receiving ongoing support from the existing team members. The level of the Tax Accountant role will reflect the experience of the successful applicant; ATT/CTA qualified, qualified by experience or studier, as the firm can mould duties to meet and develop your skills. You will have proven experience in private client tax work, can be looking for part- or full-time employment, be either studying an appropriate tax qualification, are fully qualified, or qualified by experience.
