Private Banking Director - NRI's

Job DescriptionPrestigious International Bank based in London, are looking to recruit a Private Banking Director, to be part of their exciting expansion plans. To be considered for this position, ideal candidates MUST be at least RDR level 4 qualified and have experience of managing a large book of clients. Experience with NRI's is highly desirable! The incumbent will be responsible for;Acquisition of new client relationships and development of existing client relationships within the Private Banking sectorSelling a range of private banking products to existing and potential clientsAchieving high levels of service standards and maximize client satisfactionComplying with the FCA and anti-money laundering regulationsThe incumbent will be expected to;Continue building investment knowledge and be conversant with the full range of private banking products and services: to be competent in banking, credit, investment management solutions, trusts, and real estate advisory services and to act as an effective trusted advisor in the delivery of these servicesInitiate, develop and retain client relationships while contributing actively to the business development and financial goals of the unit. Is jointly involved in client solicitation, presentation and pitching, closing business, and account managementComplete credit responsibilities such as negotiating of credit terms, collating all the relevant information for the purpose of preparing Facility Applications, credit reviews and reviewing excess reportsBe responsible for up-to-date compliance, KYC and client profile on each clientBe responsible for assessing client’s risk tolerance and investment suitability and or appropriateness as and when relevantDeputise and support other team members by attending to clients’ needs in their absence whilst adhering at all times to the regulatory competence’s requirementsMaintain an up-to-date market and investment knowledge in addition to knowledge of the UK property market lending to develop the London branch real estate investment programmeResponsible for client satisfaction and service quality levels by ensuring that the clients’ needs are met including performing administrative tasks required to meet clients’ expectationsTo be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience, qualifications and skills;Has worked in a client-facing role within a private banking environment for a minimum of 10 yearsMust be RDR Compliant (at least level 4)Experience working with NRI's would be highly desirableHas the relevant FCA accreditation to undertake an advisory role which includes the Certificate in Securities and Financial DerivativesIs conversant with the full range of Private Banking services, including trusts, asset management, wealth management, banking and advisory services
