North London £30,000-£35,000 based on experience My client are a market leader on the marketing and communications side of the print industry. Due to ongoing growth, they're now able to add to their production team in the form of a Production Controller (Litho Print and Envelope Production).Reporting to the Head of Litho Print and also the Sales Manager, the successful candidate's primary objective will be to support the production team by acting as the bridge between Client Services and production - preparing quotes, planning jobs to meet customer needs, managing stock, and much more.The Role:Gain expertise of the range of services provided in the departmentsHandle telephone and email enquiries requesting quotationsAssist with the creation of quotationsEdit and prepare job bags received from Account ManagersEnsure all accurate details are passed on to the studio departmentSend clients PDF proofs as requestedAssist in managing production schedules and stock levelsLiaise with internal printers, external suppliers and clients to answer enquiries regarding deliveries and productionEnsure all customer complaints, issues and queries are dealt with accordinglyAchieve team and individual targets set by the management teamPrepare weekly reports for analysisPurchase paper / envelopes for production when required to manage stock control.The Candidate:At least 2 years experience within the print production industry in a similar roleGood verbal and written communicationPC literate with a good understanding of management information systemsGood telephone manner and techniquesExcellent attention to detail and able to deal with multiple projects at one timeTeam player, able and willing to assist other members of the teamFlexible and able to cope under pressureAble to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurateBe willing and able to work overtime at short notice and to cover holidays and sickness when required.Salary & Benefits A competitive salary is on offer for this role up to £35,000 based on experience. Plus 20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, pension, and more. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
