Based at County Hall, Design and Print provide a comprehensive in-house design and print service for Nottinghamshire County Council. It also produces work for other public bodies, schools and registered charities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, hardworking, self-motivated and suitably experienced person to join our customer service team. Responsibilities include advising customers on their print requirements, producing accurate quotations/estimates, raising job bags, print and paper procurement, and costing jobs. It is essential that you have at least three years design and print related customer service experience and a recognised print estimating or print-related qualification. You should have an advanced level of ICT skills and have experience of computerised print management information systems. Enhanced numeracy and organisational skills are required along with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
First-line customer contact is a requirement of the post, so you should have excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. Full training on the department’s Optimus management information system will be given.
