Job DescriptionSenior Womenswear Print Designer / Team Lead Product: womenswear high street supply Location: LondonSalary to £50k depending on experience + Bonus + Bens
We are working with an very established supplier with a UK workforce of OVER 100 people add a Senior Womenswear Print Designer / Team Lead to their London based team . The designer they required to lead and develop the team under the design director and produce all over print , placement prints and border prints for a number of high street retailers including supermarkets over womenswear an girls wear . You will also work closely with the overall design tea and attend buyers’ meetings with the sales teams DUTIES Leading a small Print Design teamDesigning all over prints and Border prints for high street retailers (including supermarkets)Attending Researching trend packs for customers,Developing and amending design artwork,Developing the studios print range,Recolouring and amending customer artwork.Attending customer meetings both in the UK and OverseasAttending trade shows in the UK and abroad.MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
A recent and solid recent track record working within a UK high street supplier as a Senior womenswear print designerRecent people management experience Track record designing for fast fashion retailersConfident designing from scratch, hand drawing, developing and amending artwork, half drop repeats, borders, AOP, recolouring, working with customer and studio artwork.Knowledge and understanding of trend both catwalk and high street.Attended customer / buyer facing meetings ( strong presentation skills ) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) team player but also able to work unsupervised.London based and eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years A great opportunity for a Senior Womenswear Print designer / team leader to join a well-established and developing team which is looking to hire ASAP. #seniorprintdesigner #womenswear #teamleader #manager #London #hiring #recruiting #dobsonwelch #dominicbarclay
