Job Position: Print, Die-cut and facilities Operative
Location: Ellesmere port
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 4 on 4 off Days 06:00 - 18:00 on a rolling shift pattern inc weekends.
Hourly Rate: �11.77 but will be reviewed in April 2024

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to)
  • Ensure Tooling needed by each machine are in place as and when required as production schedules dictate.
  • Check all Tooling when returning to location for potential damage then a decision can be made on repair method with shift leader.
  • Operate and manage the Ink Kitchen to its full potential, Full in-depth training will be undertaken.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and storage of Tooling areas.
  • Responsible for Goods in area and delivering to the correct department.
  • Responsible for locating all tooling and updating on ABACA.
  • Waste cardboard bins and general waste bins to be emptied daily.
  • Operate in line with Health and Safety regulations set out in the training.
  • Communicate with responsible person any health and safety issues, maintenance issues or matters of concern on the floor.
  • Operation of a forklift in any capacity reasonably required by the organisation.
  • Be part of a fire response and first aid team as needed.
  • Use PPE and wear appropriate clothing as provided. (This may include in time a uniform and may include abiding by Jewellery policies etc that may become applicable through further Certifications the company decides to undertake).
  • Any other reasonable request by management.
  • Outdoor areas to be visited and tidied as required.
  • Sweeper cleaner to be used as required each week.
  • Leave all your responsible areas as you would wish to find them.
  • Be at your place of work promptly and ready to work, leave any information on the whiteboard that is relevant to your opposite when he starts shift, urgent issues inform your shift leader.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET
  • Should have previous experience in a modern manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to operate a forklift following correct training.
  • Willingness to partake in First Aid and Fire awareness training.

  • Good Level of IT and numerical skills
  • Good Communication skills - spoken and written.
