Print Finishing Manager (Litho and Digital)
North London £40,000-£45,000 based on experience My client are a market leader in the marketing and communications side of the print industry, currently, they are seeking an experienced Print Finishing Manager to work closely with their Head of Production.
The successful candidate will be a key figure in the business, and oversee the efficient running of the print finishing department.The Role:Manage the litho and digital finishing departmentGain expertise of the range of services provided in the departmentUnderstand the various finishing processes, equipment and products within the departmentOperate a range of folding, guillotine, stitching, perfect binding, lamination and one piece mailing equipmentEnsure that all of the correct procedures are followed for ISO quality checking and the appropriate paperwork is completedHelp ensure that all of the departments SLA's are metPerform required daily machine safety checksRaise and log all engineer callsAchieve team and individual targets set by the management teamComplete time sheets and quality control documentationUndertake support tasks as required by the senior management teamComplete projects as and when requested by the Production Director.The Candidate:At least 2 years experience within a similar roleExperience within a print, finishing, mailing environment both litho and digitalGood verbal and written communicationPC literate with a good understanding of management information systemsGood telephone manner and techniquesExcellent attention to detail and able to deal with multiple projects at one timeTeam player, able and willing to assist other members of the teamFlexible and able to cope under pressureAble to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurateBe willing and able to work overtime at short notice and to cover holidays and sickness when required.Salary & Benefits A competitive salary is on offer for this role up to £45,000 based on experience. Plus 20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, pension, and more. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm.
