Together we analyse market trends, forecast business needs and own the P&L. We are the product specialists for print products within the UK&I organisation. This role will support all members of the print category team to be able to react to market dynamics efficiently, as well as reporting our business performance up the organisation.In this role you will be able to demonstrate you can apply subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. You will work on problems of moderately complex scope. You will be an informed team member providing analysis of information and project direction input. You will be able to exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. You must be able to follow established guidelines, interpret policies and evaluate unique circumstances and makes recommendations.About the role :You will be able to conduct and summarise complex data and business analyses to develop business plans, including revenue and demand projections, business congruence and channel management.You will be able to construct statistical and financial models with minimal direction to forecast business performance.You will define the metrics required to measure business performance, and compares actual data to forecasted values.You will use, analyse and make recommendations based on market data, gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, and consumer trends, and summarizes research findings tailored to business needs.You will be able to work with cross-functional teams to facilitate the data collection and performance measurement process, and escalates issues as necessary.Knowledge and Skills we value for this role:Experience in similar business analyst role is preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage data requests.Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques.Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Developing project management skills.We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you are excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every part of the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
