Principle Planner

We are recruiting for a Principal Planner for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The role will be part of Greenwich's vision to successfully accommodate a high level of sustainable growth, which will have a positive and enhancing impact on the existing environment and community.

We are looking for key members of the team that will be instrumental in transforming the Borough and opportunities available for residents. The Royal Borough is looking for an experienced planning officer manage a caseload of major planning applications from pre-application discussions through to application submission and decision and associated submission of conditions post decision.

The position is within the Major Applications Team, reporting directly to the Major Applications Manager. The right candidate will have previous Development Management experience of working on complex minor applications and small major applications as lead officer, with an understanding of s106 agreements and viability negotiations.
