I am recruitingfor a Principal Workforce Systems Data Analyst to join an established team based in Colchester. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality workforce information analysis, ensuring accurate and timely data is available for decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workforce information analysis and a strong background
in using e-workforce systems such as Access HR, ESR, OLM, EASY pay, Trac, and e-rostering. Job Purpose:
Manage and maintain workforce systems, ensuring effective use and data capabilities.Analyse and interpret complex, sensitive data, providing written reports and statistical presentations to various stakeholders.Act as the ESR/Systems subject matter expert, advising on system functionality and troubleshooting issues.Liaise with external bodies and suppliers to improve systems or service provision.Lead on the implementation of new functions in ESR and other e-workforce systems across the organisation.Provide in-depth analysis and insights for workforce planning, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.Manage the day-to-day issues related to workforce systems and develop team members to support end users. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in workforce information, business information systems, or data analysis.Extensive experience in Workforce Information Analysis and knowledge of HR systems.Advanced knowledge of NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) or similar Oracle-based systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including Pivot Tables and various functions.Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to produce accurate workforce information and present complex data effectively.Business awareness of how workforce information impacts organisational decisions.
