Since our formation, we have developed a reputation for delivering high quality modelling services, and providing robust and credible advice that helps our customers improve and validate their designs, both before and after they successfully gain planning consent.
These capabilities, together with our track record serving a wide variety of structures internationally, have brought an expanding customer base including many of the industry's top designers.
With boundary-layer wind tunnel testing and CFD modelling at the heart of our wind microclimate services, we are looking to bring a respected, well-rounded wind microclimate expert into our team to help lead this service.
This position is part of our UK oriented business and we would like to invite applications from suitable candidates based in UK.
Principal, Wind Microclimate
With the senior team, leadership of the company’s wind microclimate services.
Project Principal, acting as a primary representative to customers, providing the best advice and service.
Project leadership, oversight and tracking of wind microclimate projects.
Chairing of regular project review meetings.
Lead coordination of CFD modelling, wind tunnel testing and design team mitigation workshops for wind microclimate.
Technical support within the company’s project delivery structure, primarily review and approval of customer deliverables.
Leading client liaison activities, including those relating to the development of wind-related mitigation solutions.
Contributing to business planning and development activities.
Preferred Qualifications / Capabilities
A degree in aerospace / structural / civil / mechanical engineering.
5+ years’ experience within a commercial wind engineering organisation within the UK.
A strong background in the delivery of wind microclimate services, with experience of more 100 than different structures.
Experience of using CFD and wind tunnel modelling to solve the challenges facing our customers is a must.
Proficiency in adeptly managing customers externally, and colleagues internally, ensuring the existence of an environment that ensures composed project delivery, and success for our clients.
