Principal Systems Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Principal Systems Scientist to join an instrumentation manufacturer at their site based in Beaconsfield on a permanent basis.

The Company:
Our client provides laboratory analysis and management systems, and manufactures world leading laboratory equipment.�

Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Beaconsfield. This is a hybrid role but will require additional days on site depending on project requirements.

Principal Systems Scientist Role:
Your main duties will be:

• Oversight of the systems team, covering a wide portfolio of active projects.
• Leading the wider R&D team in system design, specification and verification.
• Management of product development projects from initial concept development through design and modelling of optical, mechanical, electronic and software components.�

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A PhD level education in physics or engineering.�
• Extensive experience in the design and manufacture of laboratory instrumentation (including optical, mechanical, electronic and software systems).
• Good technical project leadership experience.
• A strong knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements for laboratory instrumentation.
