Principal System Engineer

Job DescriptionAs a Principle Systems Engineer you will lead general systems engineering activities, which may include requirements development and management, modelling and simulation, design activities, integration, and verification and validation. What you’ll be doing:Lead general systems engineering activities across the engineering lifecycleProduction of progress and quality reporting tools and metricsAct as the senior point of contact with customers and/or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters, to resolve relatively complex problems and issues and to maintain awareness in both parties of priorities and objectivesProvide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working and their developmentYour skills and experiences:Significant experience in a software/hardware system delivery teamA high level of understanding of the engineering lifecycleA high level of understanding of systems engineering methodologies and practices
