My client is one of the UK's leading energy and sustainability business with them specializing in their services in low carbon economy for 30 years. My client is looking for a Principal Sustainability consultant to report to the head of deliver for Zero in their offices in London.

Role responsibilities include:

• Providing technical input to projects, data analytics, modelling, and strategic insights, as well as providing expertise to help mentor the more junior team members
• Managing a variety of complex building optimization and energy reduction projects within the real estate sector
• Identifying opportunities for sales and business development opportunities to increase sales
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing sustainable advice and solutions
• Respond to operational needs such as invoicing, reviews, project management information, and health and safety
• Ensure the clients sustainability targets and CSR team objectives are met.

Requirements for the role include:

• Degree within a sustainability or engineering field with CIBSE chartership being desirable
• Strong experience with managing complex projects, energy management and auditing, and development of net zero pathways.
• Good knowledge of energy use in buildings that includes energy management systems, policy frameworks, and heat recovery systems
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• It would be beneficial to have experience with energy modelling software's such as IES-VE
