One of my key clients working in the EV Sector based in Warwickshire is looking for Power Electronics Engineers to join their growing team.
Role:
Principal Power Electronics Engineer
Senior Power Electronics Engineer
Salary: £50k to £80k + Package
WFH: 3 days per week
Location: Warwickshire
Key Skills:
Power Electronics Design of Motor Drive, Inverters, AC/DC Converters
Prototyping, testing and debugging
Leadership
Time Management
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the design and development of power electronics components
Plan and execute comprehensive testing procedures to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of power electronics systems
Identify and select appropriate power electronic components
Researching, devising and recommending solutions to technical problems
Setting up and running lab simulations
Taking ownership of power supply and related electronics activities ensuring the work is focussed on the project objectives
Providing Technical leadership and decisions on escalation items
Nice to have: Simulation and modelling of power converters (MATLAB/Simulink), Thermal design experience, Grid technologies
