The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Principal/ Senior EC&I Engineer to join a well-established engineering team working within the nuclear sector on large UK projects.
The role

As a Principal/Senior EC&I Engineer you will produce, check, and provide technical oversight of CE&I key deliverables documents/reports, calculations, schedules, drawings etc. to programme and appropriate quality.
Estimated Duration – 12 months +

This role has been deemed inside of IR35
Your duties and responsibilities will be




  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to deliver to relevant standards, codes and regulations.

  • Able to work collaboratively with other disciplines, stakeholders and the wider project team.

  • Experience and ability to deliver projects at a variety of lifecycle stages from scoping through to operational handover and close out.



You will have the following qualifications & experience




  • Experience, ability and desire to support less experienced engineers, graduates and apprentices.

  • Experience of managing engineers, designers and supply chain contracts.

  • Understanding of project fundamentals - Familiarity in using typical project metrics to evaluate and report design progress.

  • Experience developing CE&I schedules and estimates.

  • Experience planning, monitoring and managing resource requirements.

  • Can provide support and able to lead technical and project meetings.
