We are partnered with a global leader at the forefront of cell-based therapies. Ideally, we are looking to expand our Translational and product knowledge team by recruiting a Principal Scientist with a background in human immunology and Immunemonitoring. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge T cell therapies for the treatment of serious medical conditions
Responsibilites
Manage, mentor, and train a team of scientists in a fast paced-environment
Design, plan, execute, document and interpret various types of research experiments
Manage and implement various assay development and qualification projects collaborating with other departments
Manage and support external collaborations as a subject matter expert in immunology
Contribute to the external scientific visibility of the company through collaboration with industry partners
Requirements
Experience in direct line management of a team
Experience in generating and interpreting Immune monitoring data
Experience in in working with Clinical samples in a clinical trial setting
Experience in immune assay development and qualification
Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team; manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate the ability to critically analyse and present data
Contribute to a culture that embraces scientific excellence, integrity, urgency, patient centricity, and continuous improvement
Post PhD industry experience
Technical Skills Required
PhD in Immunology or related subject
T-Cell immunology and broad knowledge of current concepts in CAR technology
Experience in immune monitoring of clinical trials and biomarker discovery
Experience is Assay development and qualification
Characterization of immune cell populations using flow cytometry and molecular biology tools
Expertise in the culture of primary human cells and Immune assays such as multi-colour flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISpot, TCR and RNA single cell sequencing
