Job DescriptionJackson Hogg is a leading recruitment consultancy specialising in the STEM sectors across the UK, US & Europe. We launched our Leeds office in October 23, which is rapidly growing, and we recently moved to our new permanent home in St Paul’s Building on Park Square. We are seeking a passionate and driven Recruitment Consultants with a keen interest in developing the Aerospace & Defence markets, particularly focused in the United States. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding our client base and candidate network within the US Aerospace & Defence industry.Key Responsibilities:Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and prospects within the US aerospace & defence market. Proactively reach out to potential clients, attend industry events, and leverage networking opportunities to expand Jackson Hogg's presence.Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Source, evaluate, and engage top-tier candidates for positions within the Aerospace & Defence industry, including engineers, project managers and executives. Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to ensure alignment with client requirements.Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and talent demands within the US Aerospace & Defence sector. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and areas for growth.Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for US-based clients, managing their recruitment needs from initial consultation through to successful placements. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure client satisfaction and retention.Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues across departments to coordinate recruitment efforts, share market insights, and optimise client relationships. Collaborate with the wider Jackson Hogg team to deliver exceptional service and results.Person specificationAn experienced 360 recruiter, ideally within technical markets. We would consider a regional recruitment consultant who is looking to move into international markets.A keen learner who has good business acumen and commercial awarenessExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates.Strong business acumen and a results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Genuine interest in the Aerospace & Defence sector and a desire to contribute to its growth and development.Willingness to learn and continuously improve, with a proactive approach to professional development.
