Principal Piping Designer

Global E&C are currently seeking a
Principal Piping Designer
to support us on a full-time basis.
Working as part of our modifications delivery hub, you will be working on various workscopes including brownfield modifications, and energy transition projects.
Your duties will include:
Executing Plant Layout and Piping discipline design activities within budget and schedule.
Providing discipline specific input into tenders and proposals as required.
Assessing and continuously improving working practices, systems, personnel and team efficiency and performance.
Supporting the Lead Designer as required to allocate work, supervise personnel, and ensure delivery to schedule.
Production and checking of discipline deliverables and input to multidiscipline deliverables.
Maintaining project plan and provide progress updates for assigned scopes.
Ensuring compliance to applicable/up to date standards, regulations, codes, and procedures.
Conducting ad-hoc offshore/site surveys.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
Experience of participating in teams of Engineers, Designers and working to technical standards.
Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry with HNC in appropriate Engineering subject.
Competency in the use of AutoCAD 2D and 3D software and ReCAP cloudscan software.
Competency in the use of E3D and associated cloudscan software.
Competency in quality control and engineering procedures.
