Principal Pipe Support Designer
Airswift is seeking a Senior Pipe Support Designer to work on a 12-month assignment in the UK with a major engineering company.
Brief Job Overview Airswift is proud to partner with a leading engineering company, who are seeking a Principal Pipe Support Designer to support their work with an energy transition company.
Job Responsibilities
Execute structural design and draughting activities in the PDMS environment.
Prepare structural drawings and design deliverables to the required technical quality with guidance from engineering personnel.
Prepare structural drawings from agreed work scopes.
PDMS CAD modelling and draughting techniques.
Able to use draughting standards and specifications.
Carry out work by relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of working practices and systems to continuously improve systems, personal and team performance.
Job requisites and experience
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
5+ years of experience within a similar or identical role, and significant experience in this discipline
