WHO ARE WE?
We are hiring a Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer with SC Clearance to join our diverse team and work on a wide range of high profile Public Sector projects across UK Government.
THE NUCLEAR SAFETY ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE...
Strong engineering judgment and experience in fundamental engineering skills.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Background in safety case production and hazard analysis, particularly in the nuclear and defence industry.
Proficient in producing and reviewing/correcting high-quality technical reports.
Experienced in leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
Motivated to achieve delivery/cost targets without compromising quality.
Awareness of technical limitations and a willingness to help and support for successful project delivery.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE...
Production of Nuclear Technical Reports
Fault identification studies (HAZOP, FMEA)
Hazard and safety assessments
Develop and review Safety management arrangements
Mentor junior members of the team in a technical capacity
Liaise with operators, designers and clients to build positive relationships
