Principal Mechanical Engineer

What you’ll do:
This is a technical leadership role with responsibility for ensuring all products that Tharsus manufacture have the appropriate level of Mechanical innovation and engineering control in their inceptionA core element of this is the demonstration of “appropriate practices” for design and engineering, and coaching and monitoring of the engineering team to ensure high standards are adopted and maintainedProvide authority to the delivery of “brilliant” solutions for commercially successful products by being diligent, yet creative, product and process focusedWorking collaboratively with the Solutions Architecture, Sales and Project Management functions
We’d love you to have:
Significant and demonstrable experience leading and delivering a range of complex electromechanical products/systems/solutions in a position of authoritySignificant and demonstrable experience of operating in a diverse range of industries/sectors leading work across electrical and control disciplinesA strong degree in Mechanical Engineering or similarCharted Engineer or at equivalent experience and capability would be great but if you don’t have it don’t worry it’s not essential
