Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting their environmental consultancy client on the recruitment of a Principal Marine Mammal Consultant to join their busy team of specialists.This is a permanent position and can be based anywhere in the UK as remote / home working is on offer.As Principal Marine Mammal Consultant, you will:contribute to EIA and HRA, design mitigation and the development of mitigation measures on some of the largest and most exciting development projects in the UK energy sector.have responsibility for managing and contributing to the assessment process for consent applications for multi-billion-pound infrastructure projects.plan and manage project workloads for projects of varying scale, leading your team of consultants, and ensuring all outputs are delivered to the highest standard.In this role you will:influence strategic directionsshape current and future workstreamsexpand technologies and services to deliver technical excellence worldwideYou will have:A degree (preferably MSc), in a relevant Offshore/Marine science disciplineExcellent written and oral communication, organisational and time management skillsExperience within EIAs and the production of Environmental Statements for large infrastructure projects, or experience evaluating EIAs on behalf of a competent authority or consulteeWorking knowledge of UK and Ireland legislation with regards to expert topic (Marine Mammals)This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading environmental consultancy, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering expertise for a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across the UK.For more information on this opportunity please contact me asap on ##### DATE: 19th April 2024
