As Principal Legal Officer (Procurement & Commercial), you'll be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support to the Combined Authority in relation to the Legal Procurement & Commercial function. This includes responding to changing priorities and demands within the team, providing competent legal and procedural advice, and working closely with members of the team to provide a customer-focused, proactive legal service.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister entitled to hold a current practising certificate or full CILEX (Fellowship) qualification. You should also have experience of successfully working as a legal advisor at a junior level within the law and practice relating to procurement of goods and services, as well as practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.
