Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer (Process and Governance)Location: Barrow-In-Furness, Brough, Portsmouth, Weymouth, Frimley, Manchester or Filton - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: CompetitiveWhat you'll be doing:Lead on the integration of SWS Requirements from the SWS Major System Design Authority (Trident Systems Project Team (TSPT)) onto UK Dreadnought Platform Systems as linked through the Ship Specification in DOORSLead on change management of the SWS Requirement set in DOORSLead on review of Requirements Acceptance Forms for Ships Specification Verification Goals with linked SWS Requirements to ensure they provide explicit and unequivocal arguments supported by objective qualified evidence to substantiate verification compliance claimsProvide technical leadership and guidance on matters pertaining to their discipline, uses interpersonal skills in communicating technical design mattersWork with a high degree of technical autonomy, demonstrate a commitment to professional design engineering principles and valuesYour skills and experiences:IEng or equivalent level of capability gained through substantial relevant work-based experience. May be working towards CEngSignificant experience in Requirements elicitation and management and/or design independent verification, validation and acceptance certification and acceptance of complex products and systems and experience of using requirements management tools (DOORs, Cradle)A strong understanding of other related project, product, programme, domain, discipline and functional teams of submarines or equivalent external bodiesBenefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
