Jonathan Lee Recruitment is supporting a niche vehicle supplier in the design and development of state-of-the-art EV Vehicles seeking a Principal Engineer (FUSA and Cybersecurity), on a  permanent basis offering excellent salary and benefits package. 

As a Principal Engineer (FUSA and Cybersecurity), you will provide functional safety and vehicle cyber security support to the company.

If you were already in this functional safety and vehicle cyber security role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

• Functional safety and cyber security audits and assessments of departments and suppliers
• Support to electrical and electronic projects and technology development
• Providing the necessary technical direction to ensure technology plans are futureproofed to support the company's NPI process framework, world-class quality objectives
• Ensuring continued ISO9001/IATF16949 compliance
• Driving continuous improvement across all associated aspects of the quality engineering process.

To apply for this Principal Engineer (FUSA and Cybersecurity) role, you will need relevant experience in a similar role. You will also require the following:

• Significant interface with the company and its subsidiaries
• Process development and application with Functional Safety and/or Cybersecurity management, concept and systems design 
• Exposure within ISO26262/21434 would be advantageous  
• Necessary technical skills to ensure that technology plans are future-proofed to support the company's NPI process framework and objectives.
