Our Water South team work on both water engineering and wider water management projects to ensure sustainable water management and infrastructure that meets the needs of communities now and in the future.
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our growing Water South team, delivering detailed designs and specifications for electrical, instrumentation and control works, primarily for wastewater schemes. Whether you’re deigning new solutions for pumping stations and other M&E installations or working on refurbishments, you’ll have a varied project workload and strong pipeline of work.
We’ll work with you to develop your expertise so that you can become a real Difference Maker and develop sustainable and innovative solutions. You’ll work across a wide range of clients including water companies, contractors, and local authorities such as Wessex Water, Welsh Water & Yorkshire Water.
We are looking for individuals who can challenge conventional thinking and work collaboratively to meet a wide range of business, environment, and regulatory challenges for these clients. The role offers an opportunity for successful candidates to broaden and diversify their expertise.
What we’re looking for from you:
A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and chartered or be working towards achieving chartered status with a relevant professional institution.
Knowledge and experience of electrical, instrumentation and control design for the water industry.
The ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke and innovative designs.
Experience in the delivery of water designs and specifications on water related projects for Water Companies, Contractors and industry.
An appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes and health and safety legislation.
