A Principal Ecologist is required to support, lead and develop a regional ecology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ecologist to support a team and develop the business in an area of interest. You will join a regional close-knit team with and work for a person focused organisation.You will lead on projects whilst managing a team of junior Ecologists. You will be responsible for developing staff, writing detailed reports and reviewing technical work. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of the business and support its growth plans; you will be involved in the tendering for work and meeting with clients to generate new work.To be considered for this role you will have:A relevant degree qualificationA minimum of 8 years relevant experienceProven fieldwork and report writing experience, plus experience reviewing others workTwo or more protected species licensesEcow experienceIn return you will receive a completive package, including flexible working options and a time off in lieu policy.
