We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Designer/CDM Advisor!Job Title: Principal Designer/CDM AdvisorLocation: This is a hybrid working role with site visits across the UKResponsibilities:
* Act as the Principal Designer on construction projects, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations throughout the design and planning stages.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on their duties and responsibilities under CDM regulations.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential hazards throughout the design and planning process.
* Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate health and safety considerations into the design and planning of construction projects.
* Assist clients in the preparation of pre-construction information, health and safety files, and other CDM-related documentation.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and identify areas for improvement.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation.
* Keep abreast of developments in health and safety legislation and best practices, and provide training and support to colleagues and clients as necessary.Requirements:
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Extensive experience working in a similar role within the construction industry.
* In-depth knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality health and safety advice and guidance on construction projects.Benefits:
