Principal Cyber Security Consultant Salary – £75,000-90,000 + Bonus + Benefits Location – Remote from within the UK (occasional travel to client site as and when required) One of the fastest growing dedicated Cyber Security consultancies in Europe are looking for a Principal Cyber Security Consultant to help build out their growing Cyber Advisory consulting practice. The client have grown exponentially over the past 5 years and are now in ‘Scale-Up’ mode, looking to build on their sustained commercial success and expand their Cyber Advisory offering, helping clients to build out their Cyber Security capabilities; understanding their current estate and then advising on the optimum strategy moving forward. This position would suit an experienced Cyber Security Consultant with a breadth of knowledge across multiple cyber security disciplines and extensive knowledge of Information Security Governance standards and frameworks. Responsibilities Work with clients to scope out their requirements and translate technical concepts into business risks, designing and implementing their cyber security strategy / roadmap. Lead on Cyber Advisory consulting engagements, ensuring relevant security controls are in place against recognized security frameworks – ISO27001 in particular. Provide clients with expertise across a wide range of information security topics covering the audit, assessment, design and implementation of various security solutions. Requirements Considerable consulting experience (8+ years), working with customers to understand their cyber security posture and advise on the optimum cyber security strategy. Proven experience liaising with senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business risks. Broad knowledge across different Information and Cyber Security disciplines (Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture, Incident Response, IAM, Security Operations, etc) This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join an established but growing consultancy with a start-up mentality and have a genuine impact as to how their Cyber Advisory practice is shaped moving forward.
