About The Role
Morrison Energy Services is currently looking to recruit an
M&E Site Manager/Principal Contractor's
representative to work on ourNational GridcontractsinEngland & Wales.
You will be a part of our Electricity Transmission construction team who deliver National Grid and private generation companies 66kV to 400kV projects. This involves refurbishing existing, and building new substations including associated OHL works and HV cabling.
Reporting to a Construction Manager, you will coordinate and supervise construction activities on site from commencement through to final commissioning and completion, while acting as the principal site contact for the client.
MES Electricity Transmission are proud to be a key contractor to National Grid, deliveringsubstation new builds, HV asset replacements, bay refurbishment works and protection upgrades/replacements across the UK, including engineering design, project management, HV procurement, HV cable installation, some overhead line (OHL) works, civil construction, commissioning, decommissioning and demolition.
As a Site Manager/Principal Contractor's representative, your responsibilities will include:
Day to day management of site operatives,subcontractorsand site work.
Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plansand risk assessments/method statements.
