We are exclusively recruiting for an independent technology consultancy providing strategic advice to both large public and private sector organisations across the UK. They have built an enviable reputation for their flexible approach, quality delivery and constant professionalism. They have a highly experienced and educated team of Consultants with ambitious plans for the future and are now looking for an experienced IT Consultant to join the team due to their continued success with new and exiting clients, in fact their referrals are snowballing.They require a highly skilled individual to join the existing Enterprise Consulting team to deliver key project assignments but will also play a key role in shaping the organisation.This is a tremendous opening for the right person, someone who is looking for a new challenge and be rewarded for their efforts, perhaps to get away from the red tape of a big company, and to really make a difference and see direct benefits from their contribution.They have high ambitions and a desire to continue to make their mark as the quality source of independent technical advice.The team has a balance of strong technical skills along with excellent business and commercial awareness but also a real desire to grow and challenge themselves.Ideally they are looking for a person with expertise and skills in the area of Enterprise Architecture who may be currently working for a Solution Provider, Vendor or a large corporate looking to move in to consultancy, or may be currently working for a consultancy but looking to work somewhere they can influence change in the wider business. We are looking for someone to posses with the following attributes:A track record with 5+ years’ experience working as a Solution Architect/Consultant or similar roleDemonstrable understanding of Enterprise ArchitectureSolid understanding of architecture patterns & approachesStrong commercial acumen with the ability to understand business goals and strategiesKnowledge of the Infrastructure technology landscape, processes & key trends.Excellent communication skills – both oral and written with the ability to engage with an audience and write engaging reportsTOGAF Awareness or AccreditationCEng/CITP/MSc would be ideal but certainly a relevant degreeITIL Accreditation or AwarenessStrong awareness of Network Infrastructure, information security policies, standards and technology strategiesSomeone with vision, creative, and a desire to take the company to further success, developing products, with more clients and wider markets.Sound business awareness with the experience and ability to understand and interpret client requirements whilst realisingcommercial realities.An excellent salary and benefits package is on offer – £80-100K + OTE/Bonus + Package. You will be part of a very approachable team that all pull together developing ideas and business opportunities as part of the company’s wider strategy.There is flexibility to work from home or in the Edinburgh office.
