Our aim is to create impactful solutions that contribute to a more sustainable world.purpose of the roleYou will work with the team at io to provide flow assurance analysis and technical support to various projects undertaken by io, from Concept Select through FEED, Detailed Design and Operations. You will tackle flow assurance workscopes alongside a small team of other FA engineers. You will be based from our London office (/ hybrid) to also support in checking of flow assurance calculations and reports. It is also important that you actively coordinate with other disciplines and clients to ensure consistency across your various projects.what you will be doingDefining activities required relevant to project phase to provide appropriate level of technical definition (line sizes, insulation level, surge capacities, etc)Managing your own activities to meet project schedule and budget for flow assurance activitiesGathering input data and generating the basis for flow assurance work, liaising with other disciplines to obtain data and understand output required from flow assurance simulationsSupport in providing technical assurance for flow assurance work performed by others as part of larger projects.Participating in project reviews (Framing and Option ID, Concept Select, Risk Workshops, HAZID / HAZOP, etc)Identifying flow assurance and operability risks within projects.what qualifications and competencies you will haveDemonstrated success in developing solutions to amnage flow assurance issues with industry software packages and competence in the effective modelling of subsea systems using industry standard softwareCapability to provide input to subsea field layouts, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, etc.Experience in identifying options for concepts using different operating strategies and writing Operating Philosophies at the level of detail commensurate with the project phase.Good report writing skills with the ability to clearly structure reports to explain your key findings.You will have an Engineering degree level (Masters preferred) in a relevant engineering discipline and be a Chartered Engineer (or working towards Chartership.)what knowledge you will bringA thorough understanding of a range of oil / gas / condensate fields in an operating, projects or consulting capacity.8 to 12 years of relevant experienceA solid understanding of Oil and Gas Field ThermodynamicsTechnical expertise to provide input into subsea flow assurance scenario modelling and analyses to support facility engineering decisions.Strong understanding of thermo-hydraulic modelling, flow assurance impact on subsea design (fatigue, buckling, walking, expansion etc.) and sub-surface uncertainties.why choose io?io consulting offers a competitive salary package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within adynamicand rewarding working environment.Ifyou'redriven by innovation and have a passion for sustainability in energyand petrochemicals and recognise thecompromisesrequiredto solve for the energy trilemma,send your CV to join our team of experts.diversity and inclusion at ioAt io, we believe that a broad range of experiences and perspectives increases innovative productivity within our talent and take action to ensure our company has an inclusive culture.
