Principal Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Management of the design process for a range of infrastructure and private sector development schemes.
• Team/People Management.
• Collaborate with our in-house structural engineers together with the various external consultants that constitute a design team.
• Liaise with the client and design teams on active projects and to manage deliverables on time.
• Delegate and manage the CAD and technician resource in the delivery of outputs to agreed deadlines.
• Identify new growth areas and potential clients to expand the company's portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in building structures design.
• Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE or ICE (or equivalent professional institution).
• Proficiency in the latest design & analysis software.
• Excellent knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards.
