Responsibilities and dutiesAs the Principal Civil and Structural Engineer you will:Take the technical lead on detailed and construction design projects.Review and approve works for clients such as calculations, specifications and basis of design.Mentor and support other members of the team, developing their knowledge and skill.Have experience using software such as STAAD or TEDDS for analysis and design purposes.Complete Structural assessments of existing structures including concrete and steel.Any other duties as required.Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:A degree level qualification in Civil or Structural EngineeringChartership or working towards would be advantageous.At least 10 years in engineering design within a highly regulated environmentPersonal skillsThe Principal Civil and Structural Engineer role would suit someone who is:Able to lead others, resolve issues and effectively deliver project requirements.Capable of working to timeline and delivery of high-quality technical standardsAble to mentor and support others in their development.Organised and thorough with their approach to workSalary and benefits of the Prinicipal Civil and Structural Engineer roleSalary between 70,000 to 80,000Enhanced PensionLife AssurancePersonal development and support with accreditation INDNUCAstute Technical Recruitment Limited are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
