Principal Built Heritage Consultant

An award-winning architectural and heritage consultancy practice are looking for a Senior Heritage Consultant to join their team in York.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as Heritage Consultancy Lead in the north region
• Advising on architectural, landscape and masterplanning commissions
• Leading projects with outputs including Heritage Impact Assessments, Conservation Management Plans and Significance and Capacity for Change analysis

They are looking for:

• Demonstrable experience of archival and desk-based research and producing well-written reports
• Strong knowledge of building conservation, heritage planning or buildings archaeology
• Experience planning and managing your own and others workload
• Bid-writing and fee proposals
• Working knowledge of current UK heritage legislation and policy
