Principal Battery Applications Engineer

A team of experienced battery experts developing innovative software solutions are currently looking for a Principal Battery Applications Engineer to join them.
The successful candidate will use expertise in battery systems and data analysis to work at the interface between powerful software products and customers.
The Principal Battery Applications Engineer will:
Interact with existing and prospective customers, listen to customer requirements, and develop Proof of Concepts and Demos.
Identify customer-specific onboarding requirements and develop custom solutions or escalate to the appropriate development teams.
Conduct data quality reviews and validate customer datasets through existing algorithms and analytics functions.
Support account managers in the delivery of specialized customer-specific technical support, documentation, and training.
Conduct expert reviews on platform input and output data to objectively validate platform performance using your expertise of the battery domain.
The Principal Battery Applications Engineer will have:
Master’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Control Science, or similar) or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable industrial or academic experience in modeling battery systems.
Experience working with customers, strong communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
