Support our Principal in this varied role, contribute to an effective administration team, and provide positive interactions with our community.We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant, preferably with experience in the education sector, who will be responsible for providing organisational and secretarial support to our Principal. Key tasks include, but are not limited to, managing e-mails, appointments, staff and external communications, promotion of the College, student enrolments, administration and awards, and Board support. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal, Board and College staff, as well as external organisations.The position is 40 hours per week during term-time, with five weeks of school holiday work. Remuneration is based on the Support Staff in Schools’ Collective Agreement 2022 - 2024, Administration Grade 4, dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.The person appointed to this position will:have a high degree of personal discretion and confidentialitydemonstrate a positive and professional approach in all that they say and dobe a quietly confident relationship builderbe organised, flexible and efficientbe able to self-manage within a busy environmentbe unflappable and able to retain a keen sense of humourhave a focus on service in relation to working with staff and other stakeholdersembrace and support the special Catholic character of the College.Catholic Cathedral College is a special character, co-educational College with over 500 students, situated in central Christchurch.
