Teaching Assistant



Are you passionate about Special Education? Have you got a passion for Mental Health and Wellbeing? Are you an aspiring Therapist?



We are working with a school who are�seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a 8/11 year old student with Autism and ADHD.



As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to complete all day-to-day classroom activities and maintain continuous routines for pupils. In addition, you will be helping children hit their daily targets and even longer projects such as their short and long-term goals.



The Position:




  • One to one and general class support with a student with Autism and ADHD. This particular student also struggles with social and emotional difficulties and some mental health truama

  • Students with; Autism, SEMH, Learning difficulties and Anxiety

  • 8:30am - 16:00pm - Monday through to Friday (Term time only)

  • Immediate start



Applicant Requirements:




  • Experience supporting students with Autism and with a particular skillset working with therapy in some kind of form.

  • If you are a Psychology Graduate or someone who has provided counseling this could be the perfect role for you.

  • Ideally have experience working with children in a school setting - SEMH/Trauma/Autism/Therapy-related work

  • Must have a creative and positive mindset and want to make an impact in pupils educational and personal development



Pay:




  • �75 - �90 per day

  • Weekly payments (Term Time only)

  • PAYE or Umbrella Options
