Primary Teaching Assistant

Cover Supervisor 

Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear

Pay Scale: £80 - £100 per day

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. This role involves overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classes in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and instructions left by teaching staff.
• Support student learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Assist with behavior management and ensure student safety and well-being.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain discipline.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
