Role and Responsibilities:


  • Proven experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies that engage students and promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of culturally responsive teaching practices to support students from diverse backgrounds and promote equity and inclusivity in the classroom.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues, fostering a strong sense of community and partnership in education.
  • Dedication to promoting students' social-emotional development and well-being by integrating SEL (social-emotional learning) principles into daily instruction and classroom activities.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and growth-oriented mindset, seeking opportunities for self-reflection, feedback, and professional growth to continually enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives, committees, and professional learning communities to contribute to the ongoing improvement of school culture and instructional practices.
  • Expertise in planning clear and well-structured lessons in support of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum

The ideal candidate will:


  • Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
  • Be a committed team player
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
